I just wanted to share my wonderful experience that my husband and daughter and I had at the European Bakery. We had a great lunch , the service was exceptional, the server was so nice to us. It was very busy ,but we had our lunch in no time. The soup was a home made and the ruebans amazing. I was so impressed that they offered a great Gluten-Free menu Breakfast and lunch as my Daughter has celiac disease it made our dining experience so much better.to top it off the atmosphere was really nice, everyone was very happy! we ended up taking dessert to go, as well as a gluten free dessert for my daughter!also buying a loaf of fresh bread. I've eaten here many times since moving to the area and have introduced several friends to it now too. It's a small little place with a hockey theme. The booths are kind of small and can be a little claustrophobic, but there are tables out in the open area as well. The food is usually really good. I recommend their nachos. These are not your usual nachos, but are made with cross-cut potatoes with your nacho fixings on top (beef, jalapenos, cheese, olives, peppers). If you're not a big eater, just have this appetizer and you'll be full. The salads are fresh and there are usually some creative things on the specials board. Soups are good and homemade. And if you're a hockey fan, you might run into a few of the Owen Sound Attack on occasion too. Read more

I've been to several all you can eat sushi restaurants from Toronto to Hamilton and a few places in between--Futogenki is by far the best I've experienced. The food was very fresh and piping hot--and it was delicious! They also have a large selection of made to order Chinese food, which is included in the all you can eat menu.
