On July 3 and 4, BSS hosted the annual Investigations and Expressions: Summer Symposium, bringing together educators from across Canada. Together, they explored a Reggio-inspired approach to education, delving into documentation, knowledge building and the image of the child as key to creating meaningful learning environments. Through hands-on experiences and thought-provoking sessions, like mark making, clay work in the ravine, presentations from BSS educators and collaborative readings, participants built connections and deepened their practice. One attendee captured the spirit of the event perfectly: “You have reignited the fire inside me. I am so excited to put what I’ve learned to work.”
