Fraud Prevention Month

Fraud affects Canadians every day. Stay informed and protect yourself from scams like:

Protect Yourself:
-Verify sources before sharing personal info.
-Stay updated on common scams.
-Report fraud to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Slow Down

Be prepared for additional roving radar throughout the City. Officers continue to clock motorists driving at or above 70km in a City that has posted signs of 50km or 40km, especially in neighborhoods. #SlowDown #ChargesLaid

Foot Patrol

Foot patrol happens throughout the City, at all hours, when call volume allows. Owen Sound is a busy little City & we understand the importance of foot patrol whether it’s in the River District or along the harbour, or in areas vehicles can't travel. #CrimePrevention

Auxiliary Police Unit

The Auxiliary Police unit is an integral part of OSPS. Their commitment strengthens our policing efforts and helps make Owen Sound a safer place for everyone.

Social Work Week

#SocialWorkWeek runs March 3-9, and we’re highlighting the vital role social workers play in supporting our community. Through our Mobile Mental Health and Addiction Response Team (MMHART), we are proud to partner with @cmhagreybruce to provide compassionate, on-scene support for individuals in crisis.
